i just bought a 1990 integra rs with a b18a1 ls swap. how can i tell if it is the 90-91 130 hp motor or the 92-93 140 hp motor.

I don't think there is a way just by looking at it. Do you know who did the swap? You could try to get the vin off the block and call a dealer and ask what the year is, that might work.
Yeah thats correct,90 and 91 have the 130 hp B18A1 and the 92 and 93 (with the exception of the GS-R) have the 140 Hp engine.Where does that extra 10 hp come from...ECU map,intake,higher comp?
i dont think that the engines make a difference cause they are both B18A1 90-93 the 10 hp comes from the ecu going ODB0 to ODB1

and they have the same specs so u will have 2 see if there is a conversion harness to see if it is the 130hp of the 140hp
