Default b18a vs. b18b

come on honda guys, tell me what you think. ANY opinions are appreciated, but yes, I know it's an LS.

how much better does a b18b head/IM flow than a b18a?

Awhile ago I started a DIY port/polish job on a spare b18a head from Ebay. Well, it quickly turned into a polish only when I realized my dremel knock off just wasn't up to the task. No big deal, but I have been aquiring some of the necessary gaskets, ect. to do the head swap and when my "b18a/b" IM gasket came in, I noticed that the holes in the gasket are considerably larger than the ports in my head. MY question is, bigger ports=better flow? Maybe I should "rebay" (I love my made up term) my b18a head in favor of a b18b, and polish that one?

I've heard rumors that the IM flows better, but not the head...suggestions? Oh, my future setup, all the parts are laying on the floor, is:

polished head
IM/EM port matched if possible, not sure what header
Gude stage 2 cams
springs/retainers
upgraded ECU
blockguard(future nitrous use)
DRAG high comp HG

on a b18a 92 teg LS
