b17 headers?

Default b17 headers?

I just bought me a 92 gsr and want to put a header on it but would like to know what fits into it. I heard a B16 should fit but will it reach to my Cat? help pleaze

putting more then one header on an inline four motor would be silly

Yupp, I would reccomend only putting 1 header on at a time. A B16 header will bolt onto the head, but I'm not positive if it'll line up to the cat. You need a header that's designed with the O2 bung on the side of it also, so you should just purchase a 90-93 specific header unless you want to extend the sensor.

incorrect, the 92-93 GSR had the 02 bung right b4 the cat

correct, any 92-93 Integra header will bolt up to the head and to the cat. The LS and GSR are the same for those years. You could also get any 94-01 LS header (o2 is in the right place) or 00-01 GSR header (also has o2 in the collector), but the lengths may be different, so it may require some cutting/welding.

If you get a 4-1, you will need to notch the crossmember for clearance, so stick with 4-2-1.

Also, the b16 header will usually not bolt up to a b18 because the oil pan gets in the way of the runners. I am not sure if this is the case with the b17, since the height of the block is probably only a little more than a b16 block.
