Im doing a complete swap and putting a b16a2 out of a 2000 si in a 1998 gsr and the motor didnt have any hoses on it. does anyone have any pics of this motor that show the heater hoses go or an expination of where they go.

 

is it just me or does going from a gsr to a b16 seem like a downgrade to anyone? especially in a 2700 lb car

 

yeah ur integra is going to be brutally slower with that b16 in there..i am guessing you blew up the GSR motor? sell the b16 swap and get ur GSR motor rebuilt..its cheaper than you think.

 

the way i look at it is the integra weights around the same as a 00 civic and b16s came in those so it sould be fine.. it will be cinda slow.. but its better than not running at all..

 

and they are dirt slow as well

 

B18B's are SLOWER**.

 

Thanks for the bs replies and the lack of help it really means alot to me. If you must know i bought the car as a shell and i bought the complete swap for a deal it has less than 50k on it and thats what this car is getting for now. Dont worry about my question I figured it out I just thought there might be someone here who could have saved me a few minutes of my time by answering a question.guess I was wrong.

 

the hose on the side of the head under the distributor goes to the firewall on the passenger side closest to the battery. the second one in the middle of the firewall goes to the side of the thermostat housing.

think about what you just said..the only way you possibly could have beaten them is cause they sucked at driving, not because your b16 is better.
