Default Gsr swap

just a question i now want to swap a gsr into my delsol type s, i can do all the labor and all, just needed to know how much would a swap cost me long block plus tranny, im talking to this guy now he wants 1650 for it is that a good price??? or should i go lower ir has 29k miles on the gsr 98 motor.??

$1650 for a complete gsr swap with 29k??thats too good to be true..if you were to get a complete gsr legit it would probably be around $2500-$3500 atleast...since its that cheap i would guess there might be something wrong with it or its a stolen motor

yea the guy is kinda desperate he wanted 2100 for it but lowered it to 1800 now he wants 1650 he says he has papers, the motor looks kinda oily.

b16s are alot cheaper than gsr...i would say b16s go for $1500-$2500

thats a pretty good price, my roomate bought his 96 gsr motor for $1800 complete with dc headers and ITR manifold. The guy he bought it from didn't have papers so we dont know if the motors legit or not...if the motor looks oily bring a friend who knows his **** and have them check the motor out. also sign a bill of sale contract stating if the motor doesn't run etc...then you can return the motor...
