Default B-Series Fuel Pressure Regulator All the SAME?Swap QUESTION

Im doing a swap quick information JDM b16a into a EK
I recently bought a B16 fuel rail without the fuel pressure regulator, the guy told me my d series would work but not sure if its the same would it effect my performance? But if it doesnt what type and year car can i get the fuel pressure regulator?Any B series 90+++ integras is this statement true?

What would happen if i dont use a VTEC one i have a none vtec on now but i havent test drove it yet due to a axle nut =[

it wont give you enough fuel pressure in vtec or even at any rpm because the ecu is not calibrated to use that fpr so it might run like **** lean or rich either which is bad for the motor.

Aftermarket aem or nitrous express FPRs in california will not pass smog visual inspection, parts must have CARB (California Air Reasources Board) numbers.

If this is going into a track car then use them, if its a daily driver find a oem vtec b series FPR. The price you pay to live in california.

The five gas analyzer probe is put in the tailpipe of a car with similar required gas amounts and the car with the swap info is put in machine.
