Default axle internal help

Im trying to remove the axle that goes into the hub to replace my bearings, after i remove the boot. how to i disconntect that end from the shaft?

You are supposed to remove the axle nut in the center of the hub, separate the lower ball joint, and then slide the axle stub out of the hub. You do not need to touch the boot.

The axles slide out of the hubs after removing part #20.


This is the hub.

sorry but i guess i frased it wrong . I found what im lookin for tough

Remove by hitting that ring , Its just like poppin the axle out the tranny heh.
