I just installed my autometer guages and the lights work as I tapped into the wires from the ashtray light. But I would like to be able to adjust it with the stock dimmer switch. How would I do that, can I just tap into the cruise control botton as that is lighted and can be dimmer? Do I tap into both lines, or just one, the positive wire or the ground wire.....

just tap the power in to the dimmer switch

 

I already tapped my reverse indiglos to that, so I wanted to avoid tapping too many things into it....

 

to the head light switch then?
