Default Automatic Integra theft deterrant maybe ?

Ive had a problem from time to time where my auto shifter is locked ... and sometimes had to try pumping the break pedal several times before it would release... my master cylinder is going bad too .. soo im not sure if its related ... but anyway here is the point

can you disconnect cable/wire ect.. that unlocks the autoshifter when the break pedal is depressed .. forcing someone to put the key in the shifter whole to unlock it ...

i dunno .. maybe it would deter theives a tiny bit .. but it might not be all that wise anyway .. if they can just poke the hole with a small pocket knife for it to release

i havent played with it much .. can you guys tell me if thats the case ? simply shoving something slim enough in there to make it release ? ... hmm if thats the case ... any way to relocate whatever release lever is controling it to a different area of the car... making the keyhole in the shifter do nothing
