Automatic GSR
Ok all, read some of the archived stuff, and someone thought that an auto GSR was the same wiring as an auto LS...does anyone know for sure? we are installing one (not in my car thank god) and are looking for wiring. Also if they are not, and anyone has the wiring, let me know please. Sorry, not trying to bring back a dead post...just need to know once, we dont need to keep it going for along time. Thanks

did you ever have any luck with making an auto gsr? im tring to make my gsr auto and was wondering how urs turned out? e mail at hondavertigo@hotmail.com
so there would be no benifit to haveing a jdm gsr auto tranny instead of a usdm ls auto tranny - bolted to a usdm gsr??? ive heard they are geared differently, some say they are geared the same??!!? some say i would get more performance from a jdm gsr auto because of different shift points and differ vtec points, less performance from usdm auto... and some say there is NO difference between them.. what ecu would i use 4 ls auto, and wouldnt i need a tcm to control the ls auto??
I HAVE TO CONVERT TO AUTO(im disabled), AND I WANT TO GO THE BEST ROUTE..
PLKEASE HELP.... WHATS THE BEST ROUTE??

a jdm gsr tranny im sure as different/shorter gear ratios than an ls auto tranny because they have a different redline. Im sure that you could find a jdm auto gsr ecu as well.
omg is everyone retarded i just said that the tranny is the same! the ecu is different. thats what gives you your different shift points!
i also have a friend who is disabled and drives and auto gsr. im giving him my auto ls tranny bec his is going out. and im doing an auto to manual conversion. ls and gsr auto tranny is same! ecu is not same!

The auto jdm tranny is diffrent gearing then then the us ls tranny. You can get model with lsd too. I did this back in the day. Use a auto harness and just wire up vtec. The job was done at jpr motorsports
see if you can get a custom setup with a slap stick setting. sry i dont know what disability is, but it would be like manual with less movement. sorry if i offended you btw.
