misinformation out the *** in this thread... *ALL* USDM GS-R's are 5-speed. in J-land, they did make auto GS-R's. and, as for the "yeah, buy the 4-door" comment, pretty sure I got 3 pedals in my DB8

I'm sure there are some auto 4 door gsrs, but they were probably converted to auto... I couldn't find any listing that showed Acura making auto gsr's. But I'm sure that if you wanted an auto gsr and you had the money you could've ordered one stock if you had the hook up... anyway... here's a website that shows all the specs and trims for 94-01 integras. It does state that auto gsrs weren't an option tho

The one you saw probably wasn't a GS-R. Maybe an LS, RS, or GS.

Heres some info to end all confusion and misinfo:
Automatic GSR's only came out in Japan. Never in the US
The Automatic GSR tranny is the SAME as the Ls/Gs/Rs tranny.
If u want an automatic GSR, just get an LS tranny and a SIR-G Auto ECU.

We all kind of know that, hence what was said above. You're 2 hours and 15 minutes late.

I vote this best post for the thread.
The catch is that Honda never sold a GSR in Japan. The similar vehicle sold in Japan was the SiR or SiR-G. Those were available with VTEC and automatic transmissions.
