#15 is just to take cover off
and you dont need an impact gun to break loose
all you have to do is
use a wrench to hold the opposite bolt

We came up with some inventive ways of pulling off those bolts on my LS... Just jam something somewhere to keep it from turning. An impact makes it eeeeeeeasy, but you don't need one of those or even the gear holder.
And for reference sake, all automatic transmissions do require a "flywheel" but it's called a "flex plate" and it sits between the crank and the torque converter. It serves a different function, as well, than your everyday flywheel.

are you referring to the front crank pulley?
ussually is the same theory have someby jam the rear
but this time use some thing for leverage....

this is what happened.
i used a breaker bar with another metal pipe for an extention for more leverage and broke 2 3/4 sockets. i guess i got soem cheap tools.
