Car wil run good for about a mile. Then after that it will start to not go anywhere and slow down and eventually the engine revs up but car will not go. I let it sit for about 4 minutes and in will drive about 200 ft before it will start to die again. wtf is this?

 

Try checking your fluid level. But most likely, by the sounds of it you need a new torque converter. PM me if you need one. I have quite a few laying around.
