Default apexi ws2

Again. pulled over for my modified exhaust. In california.

first. I was wondering what makes an exhaust illegal?
sound (decibl) level, CARB illegal.. smog? or is ANY modified exhuast illegal in cali?

second.
i don't want to go back to a stock exhaust so i seared HT and found that the apexi ws2 is "not ricey" and "queit" and gives power. BUT..is it legal in cali?

help me out. my sign off date is soon. haha

Yes, it should be legal. You just have to prove it's under 95 db, which the ws2 is.

Depending on what CAI and header you have, unless they have a CARB EO# they're illegal

yeah pretty sure ws2 is legal. i know a lot of people who got it and none of them happen to have an exhaust ticket yet.

WS2 is so quiet, just like stock, but with a nice throaty hum when floored. I love mine an no problems!

if you want to not go back to stock, then the ws2 is a good way to go for what you are looking for

I'd definitely go with the WS2. It's tone is deep and sounds almost stock (way under 95dB..or whatever the legal limit is in Cali) and it looks practically stock. Sounds exactly like what you're looking for.

as it states:

Catback Exhaust means the piping from the Cat converter

the one for 180 is just the muffler with no piping.
