had a code p1457 - evap control (something) few days ago found that the evap bypass solenoid was bad. put one on and light came back on for the same p1457. come to find after talking w/ few guys at acura that the solenoid can cause the ecu to short...wtf..so question is get a oem ecu or possible buy aftermarket? cars a 99 gs-r 93k miles w/ intake, header, axle-back ws2, and on some occasions 50 shot of nitrous, is it worth the aftermarket ecu yet?

 

I'm in the same boat with my TL. What did you end up doing?
