im building my lsvtec and have a gsr head and gsr manifold and im trying to figure out the throttle cable for the throttle body. if the tb cable is suppose to go under the manifold (hidden) and thru the firewall, where do i connect the cable to the manifold for support? or do i? also there is a plastic resevoir under the manifold that looks like it would be in the way. on my ls manifold it connects to the top with a bracket. do i need a bracket from something or what? i have probably confused half of you but any input will help. thanks yo.

 

the tb will go over the top of the manifold and curl downwards onto the pulley...There is a bracket youre going to need on the Manifold...If youre hardcore you can easily fab yourself one from some other random bracket or sheetmetal (this is what I did)...If you need a picture of what im talking about lemme know and Ill take one for you

 

yeah if you could get a pic of that it would help, i work sheetmetal in the airforce so i may just be able to fab a brkt up. thanks

Alright , Im going to try and borrow and digi cam and take one for you...Ill have it either today or monday..I saved the thread so I dont forget (assuming nobody posts what you need before I take the pic)

i got an ls throttle cable with the plate that holds it to the manifold. an a throttle pully of, i forgot but yea spend 5 bucks for everything at the junkie
