Anyone Have Apex Power intake ?
I bought an apex power intake after hearing some good about it, and im still pretty questionable about it. For startes the filter does not fit into the stock intake piping well ( and yes i have the metal adaptor ). however it makes great noise and great power, im just curious to see it in others cars, and what others feel about it ?

When i connect that metal short ram piece to the stock piping, the pipe does not fig snug onto the stock intake piping, did you use some sort of clamp to tighten down the stock piping and the apex'i piping ?

no, the stock pipng should have a metal clip around it already to hold it in there (forgot the exact name of it). Also, did you mount it using the mounts it came with? or are you letting it just hang there? If all else fails, get any clamp and put it on there, it will make no difference

Well i think what happened was that i bought the civic intake, im at work right now and when i get home im gonna check the model number of the intake to see if i have the right one, but i was looking at them and when i saw the b16-b16a-b20 i just figured they fit all b series motors, and when i asked the guy at the shop he said, yeah it will fit any b series motor, so i think i got the civic one, if so im gonna go back and return it, so i should just slip right in ? also the mounts it came with didnt really match up with the mounts in my teg, one did but thats it, so at least its not hanging there.

Re: Anyone Have Apex Power intake ? (evan2)
it depends what kind of car you have, im not sure if you can buy the adapter piece separately, you have to buy the kit for your car, i think integras are 1004 ??? or something simliar to that number. My review of the intake is that it makes lots of noise, which in my book is a big plus, throttle response has definately been improved, and vtec seems to hit harder. Keep in mind, intake is the only mod i have right now, and this is my first vtec engine.
