Default antenna problem..help!!

my antenna is supposed to automatically go down when I turn off the car or when the radio isn't in use, but now it stays up all the time even when the car is off, what could be the problem, I was thinking a fuse, any input would be greatly appreciated....thanks.

it's probably jammed. but i would check the fuses, and the plug that goes into the antenna. did you drive through a car wash or anything?

when u turn ur car off do u hear it trying to go down? if so, its the wire inside that is busted...its like $50 to replace.....if you dont hear anything its the whole antenna motor thingy.................happened to me already. its easy to fix.

dayam...300? That sucks.......I asked Acura about that too but I dont think it would have cost me that much if I had them do it. I bought the part and told them I was going to do it myself....they told me how to do it...really simple...its a bunch of b.s. all that labor they charge thats y ima try to learn everything on my own!

if the antenna is broken, go look in the classifieds and ebay for a replacement. the 2nd gen teg uses the same antenna too.

do u hear the motor going? your antenna might just be off or something. a lot of cars come into the honda dealership i work at with antennas like that. either you replace the whole thing, or just push it down and pull it up as you please.
