ok, so i get my car back today after having the valves adjusted and the car timed, i put in a walbro fuel pump before this, ran a series of tests and there was spark, so i pick up the car, drive it to work, drive it home, let it sit for about 3-4 hours and now it just turns over with no start...what now? should the battery light be on when all the other guage lights cut off, it seems to be cranking too fast for a charging system problem, but i tried many times til it did drain the battery...help!

edit: oh yeah forgot to mention, if it does start up after cranking it has a loud backfire, and cuts off immediately, i hold the gas but it dies slowly but doesn't even idle
