Another AC Problemo!
Ok, so I had a thread asking a question about an AC problem. My clutch was not spinning on the compressor which led me to believe that it might be too low on freon.
As a quick fix i refilled the system with r-134 at the correct psi for the outside temperature and it worked excellent on a five hour drive, as well as the following afternoon (yesterday). Today i tried the AC and only warm air is coming out again, the compressor is spinning and there is still enough freon, i checked and the levels remained the same as the day before. What could my problem be?

I usually just go ahead and replace all the seals since its inexpensive and only takes a few hours. But if your trying to track down the specific leak buy a UV dye fill kit from your local auto store or walmart, they run about $15. Sometimes its easy to find the dye around the seal or inside the car. Either way if you open the system you'll have to evacuate it and refill. I would highly suggest to put in a new drier also.
