Default ANGRY INTEGRA - LOOKING FOR INPUT

96 integ bone stock auto tranny - 175k

unknown prior service history and maintenance - car is families (way outta town)

car had overheating issues, reached the "h" not sure how long it was there but it was..maybe multiple times. car was taken to a shop i assume - and had three sensors replaced, yet again i assume - ect, knock sensor, and something i dont recognize.. was also told that they had the thermostat replaced but im not positive. car has had a recent oil change, distributor cap, spark plugs - gap set, coolant flushed and new 50/50 refilled. car is still overheating.even while sitting in the driveway. when heater is turned on it jumps up in temp even more.. im baffled and scratching head. after a drive at freeway speeds i can hear boiling noises coming from overflow. obviously she hotttt... drop me a pm or post up if you have knowledge. appreciated.

also - no cottage cheese in the oil cap, no water on the dipstick or in the oil. after warmed up idle drops to around 750-800.

Could be a clogged radiator, collapsed hose, or a bad water pump. Or a bad thermostat out of the box....which is more likely if it was an aftermarket one.

i didnt even think about the dam fan! even with the fan possibly not functioning, why would the temp increase with turning on the heater? in my mind the temp should fall rather quickly after cycling the heater on max.. thanks for the input i will check the fan and update asap.

update.... replaced thermostat.no visible oil in coolant.. inspected wiring harness all looked ok.found three od looking splices but not sure if theyre part of the problem or not. no fan cycling on at all! both fans cycle on only when runing ac. car temp is all over but increases to hotter when slowling down, turning on the heater, and turning on the ac..even with both fans runin it gets hotter.. ect looks new. dumbfounded, please advice before i light it on fire.thanks for previous input.

I would check your radiator. Drain your coolant and pull the radiator out and stick a water hose in the top of the radiator and turn it on and the water should come out the bottom as fast as it is going in from the top. It could also be your water pump as mentioned.
