ok i think my alternator is gonna die very soon. when i was drivin around yesterday the stereo would shut on and off, the abs light would flash when the stereo went off, my headlights dimmed. i think this is my alternator, not sure but thats what ive been told by 2 other people who had similar problems.
Will a GSR alternator fit my 1994 LS? what alternators are interchangable? Please help me out. thanks

 

sure sounds like it... but make sure your belt isnt loose and slipping before you go and swap it out.

 

Check all your battery cables & engine grounds too. You'd feel pretty silly if you put in a new alternator when the real problem was a corroded ground cable...

 

Ne1 know if the gsr alternator will fit?

 

i believe all ls,gs,rs,gsr model alternators are the same.. im upgrading mine and this is what i have concluded.
