Yea i dont know if its my alternator or something but my car like turns off automaticallly...all the cables and wires are on tight...battery is good...belts are good...so i really dont know wat is could be wrong besides the alternator...opinions would nice...plz help. Thanks in advance!

 

I assume your car starts up fine? Does all the power items work inside your car? If you have problem starting up your car and the power items don't work, it's probaly your alternator.

 

well i think all the power stuff inside the car works...its just the car...it just shuts off and when trying to start it sometimes...it doesnt even make that start up noise...its like silent

 

It might be your starter.

 

how much is it to replace starters..o yea btw...the car always idle under 1000rpm...shocks me

 

What's your idle right now? After warmup, I'm at about 800 RPM which is normal.

 

if your battery is good, then your alt is probably good cuz if your alt is bad, your battery usually wouldnt charge up.....did you actually get a load test done on your battery to determine that its good?.....the starter would have nothing to do w/your car cutting off while its running since the starter just starts the car....if the alt is bad however, it could cause the car to shut off bc its not generating power correctly.......maybe one of your wires is corroded, sometimes your wire may look good, but get corroded on the inside in which case all the voltage wouldnt make it thru the wire causing a bad connection.
