The alternator in my 91 Teg just fried itself. I'm looking to save some money and still have the OBD2 alternator from my engine swap. I know the plugs should be the same as OBD1 and want to convert to OBD1 eventually anyway. So my question is, can I install my OBD2 alternator and just change the plug on the harness side but still run OBD0? If so, anyone have any details on how?
