Alignment Question
I wanna get an alignment. I called a shop that I brought my car too before (timing belt/axles). The last time I brought it in, they said they found the front left coil spring was broken and the fork bushings were separated. They're telling me that an alignment is pointless unless the shock get repaired. I mainly want to get an alignment because I'm gonna rotate my rear's to the front. Is an alignment really pointless unless I fix the spring issue.
They're charging ~$700 to fix it (labor+parts). Would it be cheaper for me to get some used shocks/springs and just swap em myself?

There is no need in paying to get an alignment if something is broken on the front end.. You mise well throw money out while driving down the highway..
Inspect the stuff they are saying is broken, Then try to replace it with something used/new.. Do it yourself save 700.00
Then rotate your tires.. Then go get alignment.
