Default alignment opinion.

I have a question about wheel alignmnt. Some mechanics told me since I only had a 1.25" drop I don't need wheel alignmenta. The reason they said that is because when I(they) drove my car down a straight and even flat road, my steering wheel stayed in the middle all the time. It didn't steer or pull to either side even with hands it. When I'm driving in the freeway, I don't feel any uneven pulls/steers to either side. The driving is very smoothe and no tension on the wheel. Can you guys explain this?

you want to get an alignment -- if anything itll aid uneven tire wear a bit

Go get an alignment, and NOT by those mechanics that told you that you dont need one. They are obviously REALLY stupid.

just get an alignment.. I get an alignment anytime I do anything to the suspension or change the tires.. but then again I have a lifetime alignment plan... make sure your toe angles are in check and rotate your tires (I rotate my tires every oil change/3K).. this can make your tires last a lot longer... even normal/stock cars on stock suspension need an alignment sometimes.. so that "only 1.25" drop.. .don't need an alignment" advice is kinda whack...
