Default Alignment Question

Is a 4 wheel alignment required when installing new tires. My acura dealer says that a alignment is required whenever new tires are installed. My alignment is fine and Id rather not spend the $50 on an alignment. Is an alignment required even if it is fine when installing new tires.,

I didn't think that was true until I got new tires. Made my car pull to the left and my steering wheel was crooked. Weird. You'd think tires wouldn't affect your alignment.

installing new tires has nothing to do with wheel alignment...

for $50 - are you sure they were not reffering to tire balancing? you do need that when installing tires, and re-balancing is good to do 3000-6000 miles
