My friend just bought an AEM Intake kit for his 93 Teg and im not sure which one it is but the inlet is in his wheel well, but anywho his car seems to pull a heck of a lot harder then it did before and the exhaust is a heck of a lot louder as well. Is this one of the best mods you can do for these little cars, or is their better intakes out there, (another friend also has same year teg and trying to decide which to reocmmend to him). I've heard rumors that these intakes don't do much for the cars and that they only help at certain rpms.. i dunno, just asking

 

I'm happy with mine. I think aem has dyno charts but I'm not sure. http://www.aempower.com An intake has such a simple task, there's not much difference between different brands so I'd say the step up from a CAI is forced induction or nitrous.

 

Well i figured the intake helped him tremoundsly becahse he had full exhaust (headers to the muffler) so he really needed alot more air in there

 

Its a simple mod that isn't very expensive and gives you a nice sound along with some power.
