AEM CAI problem...
Hi guys I recently got a 98gsr and also an AEM CAI
I'm currently at a friends house trying to put it in, i finally got the stock air box out, but when taking off the breather hose/water hose assembly in step 2b this green stuff started to come out of where i disconnected the tupe from the throttle body. It's greenish and very hot, is this normal? What should I do?

Also if you let much of this "green hot stuff" leak out you might want to check the level of "green stuff" in the radiator, but make sure your car is cool before removing the radiator cap....
didn't it say in the directions to drain some of the coolant before the install?......i remember thats what it said in my directions, but i wondered why i would need to do this......then the say thing happened to me when i removed that hose.......guess i should always follow directions
I didn't see where it said to drain some coolant, but maybe i just didn't read it all the way through, finally managed to get it on and it sounds great, thanks for the info guys.

it did say to wait for your car to be COMPLETELY cooled and stopped running before trying to install the AEM CAI... anyways... good luck, and you'll love the way your car runs after the CAI is installed... have fun!
If my memory serves me correctly....and I AM low on brain cells... the instructions do say to drain some coolant....but that ain't necessary....
Suck it up and finish the install daniel son.....
Let's get to the **growllllll**
