Default acceleration prblem HELp PLEASE

my 96 gsr jolts forward in all my gears its not just one jolt it does it several times i dont know what it wrong any ideas

well its a GSR soo most likely its a manual.....sounds like a timeing problem might be off..my old honda accord did that too...when your in gear and you want to accelerate it chugs first..then it'll start to pick up right?..if it dose that its a timeing problem!

no timeing as in timeing belt..... might be off causing a misfire.

If it is not engine related after they inspect it, it could be a severe case of clutch slip where it engages and loses the grip over and over again. Could also be the input shaft bearing is worn down, but those are more like vibrations and chattering, not really jolting of the entire car.

threy said it was my distributor cap and ignitions rotor i had to special order the cap cause i have msd but i put the rotor in it help some
