Accelerating When Cold
When I drive off in the morning, before the car is fully warmed up (driven 2-5 km), and I try moderate acceleration (1/2 - 3/4 throttle) in lower gears (2, 3) to maybe pass, I've noticed hesitation. Just last week the car started to buck as if the the gas was being turned on and off. I haven't had a chance to get a dealer to look at it yet. If I try to get into the higher rpm's, it's very sulggish.
After it's fully warmed up, say 10km or more, everything seems fine. Could it be a sensor?
Any ideas?
I have approx. 20K kms. on it now.

Thinking....maybe up to 5K...I usually try to avoid high rev's when it's cold.
Also, being summer (here in Ontario, it's been quite warm in mornings lately.

Well, problem is solved! The local (brand new) Acura dealer had the car for 3 days to reproduce cold starting. They eventually found a bent spring in the distributor. Now it runs like a top!
Glad you found the problem. You might want to take it easy on the car though when it's cold. 1/2 to 3/4 throttle before it's warmed up fully is kind of rough on the engine. The oil is still thick and doesn't circulate all that well when the motor is cold.
Just an FYI...
