AC replacement
You can use any compressor you want.
There are three (3) issues you will run into...
1- Mounting, compressor needs to be mounted securely with pulley squarely lined up with crank pulley, [compressor also has to have the correct pulley].
2- Manifold fittings, either you have to find a compressor with the same fittings, [suction/discharge] as the stock fittings or you have to modify the lines.
3- Capacity, like just about anything a smaller compressor will not have the capacity of the stock compressor so "cooling" will be effected, how much will depend on a number of things.
