AC question
i have remote start and my friend tells me that i shouldnt leave the ac on when i start it, cuz its going to damage the alternater and waste my battery...im pretty sure this is not true. so is there any truth behind this?
no its not true .. iv'e had my remote start for almost 3 years and i have been doing it since ... put the ac on when it's hot, and start the car, and remote start it on the winter and put the heater on ... it never damaged my alternator or drained my battery ...

EVIL Teken: This is only an issue on cheaper units that do not provide a delay *after* the remote start, then that would increase the load to the battery...
