Default ac in DC2

i was wondering does aftermarket exhaust manifold cause any effect on air conditioning components.
When i had my del sol one of the header stud broke off, i took it in to the shop and the mechanic says that the aftermarket header will kill my Ac because it creates too much heat..

that's the dumbest thing i have ever heard.

how does an aftermarket header generate more heat than the stock one?

the only reason you would lose a/c is if you had a turbo manifold that got in the way.
