So I got the ABS light pulling in to work 15 minutes ago, jumped to check codes and got a CEL code, no ABS. CEL code 9, CYP. Dont know what this Cylinder Sensor is, never get a CEL while driving, never gotten a CEL period in my car. And why am I not getting ABS codes after the ABS light came on?

 

there was thread about cleaning ABS sensor. try that and see if it helps

 

Found that thread, the pictures dont work anymore. The thing is, its not telling me what the problem is, not spitting out any codes when I jump the service connector. Its just giving me a CEL code even though my CEL NEVER comes on. prolly an old code though, i'll reset the ecu this weekend and see what happens...

As for the ABS codes, anyone else care to chime in?

 

honda has a abs diagnostics, cel and an abs lights are 2 different things, abs ecu has to be checked, its under the dash

 

ya i know they're seperate...just spelling out my luck by explaining the CEL =P
