No i don't need it, but if I'm not using it, i might as well delete it, taking up a lot of space under the hood, anyone knows how to delete the ABS module, i got a shop who can do it, but i never really seen it done before,
Well I had my ABS light on and took it to the shop. They had this OBD digital machine that hooked up to the car and gave a 5-4 code (for my 99 gsr) which meant it was the back right sensor.
You might want to check out your sensors cuz once one of them goes bad the entire ABS system will not work. I am guessing it's one of your sensors.
See if when you put in your key and switch the ignition up once, see if you notice the ABS light initially flash couple of times, then should go on a quick pause then flash couple more times. My 5-4 code read like that .. 5 flashes a pause then 4 flashes from the ABS light before it stays lit all the time after that.
