ABS light is on
my friends ls 98 ABS is on, and it's wierd too, nothing is wrong with the brakes, fluids are good, any reason why?

The wheel speed sensor might be bad or not reading properly. You need to check the code. His brakes will still be fine , but the abs will not work.

ya i had the same prob with a 96 ls and it ended up being the right rear speed sensor...

i had the same prob with my teg i am pretty sure it is the wheel speed sensor, i aint worrying bout it cuase a new sensor is prolly alot of money.

did you drive a little bit with the e-brake (slightly) engaged or anything... that trips it sometimes, but it'll go away after awhile...
