Hi, I just put in two new agx struts for the front of my integra. Now... i hear a creeking (rusty door opening and closing) noise like something is loose when i hit bumps. Now everything is tight. I am almost 100% sure that the noise is coming from the Mount, where it mounts to the engine bay, its like the strut is flexing more than its suppose to. How do i get rid of this? Any help would be nice.

 

May I know what kinda springs u're using?

1. jack up their car and retorque everything
2. did u cut the bumpstop? the fronts u must trim, and the rears u can leave alone
3. did u get an alignment? sportlines are a pretty low drop.

 

How much do i trim off? Thanks for all the help so far.

 

included in the box of the sportlines theres a red piece of paper
there it says to trim it, im at school soo i can't check for you.
its like 5mm or sumthing

but check if u have that paper, if not, drop an email to eibach
or check their webpage.

 

unless you have a RSX you dont have struts. You have shocks...thanks im done.

uhh, what are you talking about? aren't shocks where you just replace a cartidge type thing while a strut you replace the whole damned thing?

i don't know all that much, but you must know a whole lot........

 

Struts are just shocks, mounted up-side-down.

 

lets not even call them either one, and call them by the correct term
