Default 98-01 Conversion.

I did a search and couldn't find any information on my question. I have a 1995 LS with a crashed front end and i figured since i need to replace everything, including the hood, 2 fenders, bumper, and headlights i would go with the 98-01 front. Is there anything i would need to change, or is everything a straight bolt on? and are the 94-97 headlights and blinkers any different then the 98-01 headlights and blinkers? If you know or ever did this conversion I would appreciate any pointers and tips on how to do this since I'm doing all the labor myself. Thanks.

Well to do the conversion you need to replace the radiator with a 98+ one and the radiator support along with the cross memeber, and..........sigh.

search???

You need;
- 98+ bumper cover
- 98+ headlights
- 98+ bumper lights
Thats it
It is a direct bolt up to everything, very easy swap over.

Replace w/e you need to fix the damaged parts OTHER then the lights/bumper.

Everything other then the Headlights/Turnsignals/Bumper,
is exactly the same on the front end, so all you need is those 3 items to change to the 98+ front.

Yeah all you need is to get the bumper, the headlights, and the bumper lights. You don't need to change the radiadtor or the core support.

I did correctly state everything needed though!

I'm thinking about it, but if i choose to go with a JDM front end it would only make sense to go all out and add recaros and trim the side door moldings and so on. Would you recommend me doing that to an integra thats a bit newer? I mean i know 94-01 are all basically the same model but just the fact of *newity*, do you think it's worth it?

It's cool man. Is your Avatar a MR JDM front DC? If you have any good pics of it could you possibly post up some pics, my car is MR and i can't find many pics of MR dc's with JDM fronts.. I would def like to get a good look at the MR with the JDM front before i go and order the front end then have regrets, all i ever see are BFP, PY and CW JDM with JDM fronts..

Well if can go all out do it!!! When i can afford it, i'm not going to worry about the side moldings(although it looks 100% better its too much paint/ body work ) and i'm gonna rock my stock chairs. Of course i would like to upgrade that stuff later. IMO the JDM frontend looks soooo much better than the bubble eyes. I think if your going to upgrade the frontend, go JDM route. If you like the car your in then don't worry about it being new or not. I guess its easy to say that when my car is a '01 HAHA. Good luck what ever you do . Let me know what you do dude!
Later.............

damn you! My dream is an 01 Integra. Another thing thats going on in the back of my mind is shoulld i put all my money into my 95 LS, or just keep saving and buy an 01 ITR. I like my car as of now, its my first car and im inlove with it, but idk what i REALLY want to do yet, i want to have a sick car for the summer that looks good which is why i think my mind is going more towards fixing up what i have now because what i have now isnt even too driveable

Mine was slow before i put a b18c1 head with ITR cams, including other internals and some other bolt on's, my car now dino's at 185hp. BUT it is an LS black and has an LS tranny so it accelerates much slower then an ITR or even GS-R.

Um .. if it had 185hp from a Dyno .. It would more then likely be at the wheels,
ls trans or not, I'm pretty sure it would be a Lot faster then a gsr,
and I'm probably still faster then a type-r..

Oh and, 185 at the wheels N/A wouldn't be from a head swap with cams alone.

Any other mods to go along with those few?

It has Type-R cams, Type-R valves and springs, a full port and polish on the head, GS-R DC Sports 4-2-1 headers with a turbo ready magnaflow exhaust. VAFCII VTEC control, and a chipped 92-96 Civic Si ECU (not sure what exact code the ECU is at the moment) AEM intake, uhhhhhhhh thats all for now..
