97 ls CEL codes
a buddy of mine has a 97 b18b1 in his 98 civic 4dr. he went for a civic ferio look. anyway i was looking for a list of codes for the ecu. he told me that his CEL went off only SOMETIMES. i was just searching and couldnt really find what i was looking for. sorry if i broke any of "your" rules, i am usually in the EF section and they can be really mean sometime.

thanks alot dude. im not too familiar with how you guys run shop here, but thanks for your help. am i correct in thinking that the 98 ls b18b1 is an obd-1 motor?

give me the code? like they will check to see if the ecu is throwing a code and tell me what it is for free?

97 is also obd2. You should try reading through this forum a little more, all the information is here. Some places like autozone and advance can check codes, but I think the cel light has to be on for it to even show on the code reader.
