95 LS random CEL.
Well i left my house, going to hang out with a friend. Im going down a hill in either 3 or 4th at about 40 MPH. Bam my cel Comes on. WTF? Im thinking ok maybe a missfire. I got down pull off and start it up. CEL goes off. I go pull into hardees (Where i work), I was meeting a friend. I pull in a rev the engine, Hopeing if it was a missfire it would happen again. I let my car, sit for about 3 hours, i come back start it up. Drive off, it warms back up and BAM cel. I put fuel system cleaner in it, i dont know if that caused it. It was techron. Checked the plugs, plug wires, antifreeze.
I have a 95 LS integra. Mods are intake, Exhaust, No cat.
Never had this problem. I have had the car on the road for about 2 weeks and when i brought it back i drove it about 200 miles back. NO Problems
ANY IDEAS?

Did you check the cel? Just use a paperclip in the blue connector under the passenger side of the dash, and count the flashes on your cluster...then use a manual to figure out the code. Good luck!
It's no big deal...I had done 5 swaps before I even realized how easy OBD1 was to check codes. Anyway its the two prong blue connector found under the passenger side all the way on the right. It is usually in a green rubber protector, with a 3 prong plug as well. Grab the 2 prong plug and put a paper clip in it, so that two ends of it go in the female plug like you are plugging the paperclip in. You may have to cut the paperclip to work easier.Once you do that, your cel should flash. Count the long flashes as 10's and the short as 1's. Example: 4 long flashes and 3 short ones...code 43. Then if you don't have a haynes or anything, search on here for an OBD1 code list. Good luck!
The car has to be running after you get a cel...most cels aren't saved in an OBD1 system, therefore everytime you turn off the key, the code disappears. OBD2 is different in that the codes are saved, and the car can be shut off, and the code will reappear upon startup. Good luck!

1/2 quart low on oil will not trigger a CEL. I've been a full quart low (at the bottom hole on the dipstick) and didn't get any CEL's.
What was the code it was throwing?
