Default 95 GSR Timing help

My name is Brad, let me tell you a little bit about what I was doing, and what is going on now. I pulled the distributor to check the seal I've been noticing oil leaking for a while. As I was taking everything in the distributor apart it had leaked oil for so long the jackets on all the wires had become oil rotted, so I rewired it all correctly. Put it back on and it started up no problem. I was letting it warm up before I tried to adjust the time and after about 2 minutes bam. Just died I immediately went and bought a whole new distributor. Put tue new one on and nothing it will crank I have fuel have fire, but I think I might have jumped a tooth or two. Is it possible to have jumped time without bending my valves? I wasn't driving it was just sitting and idling need serious help I've been without my baby for two weeks!

Pull the vc off and rotate the crank untill the cam gears come to TDC and confirm the lines match and the crank pulley lines up with the oil pump cover line.

I doubt you skipped timing how did you adjust the ignition timing when the engine died?

Check your fuses, maybe the ECU burnt

Still don't know how people do that ^ the key is offset, you have to force it in if it's 180

Distributor can be installed 180 out, but not in this case as it ran for a bit.

It is unlikely that you bent any valves if all it did was skip a tooth or two.

Confirm mechanical timing. 94

how? how do people do that? the key is offset and it takes a huge amount of force to push it in even part way, and even THEN you cant put all 3 bolts all the way back in, isn't that enough evidence for people that something is wrong? /endthreadjack

Okay so did timing belt all tdc marks line up. Water pump spark plugs wires dizzy cap and rotor still nothing. If it was the ecu it would even turn over. I'm going to do a compression test today also exchange my distributor its a re-man from O'Reillys I was told sometimes you can get one and it already be bad.
