Default 94+ Integra Tanabe Sustec H (Black) Springs

I was wondering if anyone has these springs on their car can tell me the ride quality, handling ability and how much it lowers the car. Any pics would be useful to.

thanks

1 inch? is that enough to make 205/45-16's look low enough? i wanted the 1.75/1.5 H&R's provide, but the tanabe's I can get cheaper. any opinions on ride height?

dont even bother if you drive your car hard, the rear springs are stupid-soft. Get the H&R's, according to there rates, the rears are stiffer.

If you auto-x the car save money for GC's.....

I have the Tanabe Super Down Precedos w/ 205/45/16 tires...

Ride quality is good, even with stock shocks. And NO I'm not sponsored/endorsed by Tanabe in anyway... wish I was though

Whoa those spring rates are kinda weird. The lower springs have a lower spring rate and the rear spring rate is the same among both sets.

Those spring rates aren't correct, as it should be in hundreds of pounds/inch. Decimal place is off?

Just in case you wanted to know, http://www.wholesalehyperformance.com has those springs for $199.95. My friend just orderd a shift **** from them. He wanted the shift **** and we used it as kind of a test to make sure it was a real place. We weren't sure because they have some pretty cheap prices. So, check it out. Oh, yeah, he received it so it's a real place.

I like the springs very much. The ride quality is good and only bounces a little bit more than average on bumpy roads. The handling is great on curvy roads but I think it will be even better when I get my Tanabe front and rear strut bars for Christmas (hopefully). I believe that Tanabe makes quality products and I support anything that they make. AGAIN... I'm not sponsered/endorsed by Tanabe. Just think they make damn good products. Great craftsmanship and high quality ****!

KrazyChow... Yeah... I also wanna get the adj. struts. Have you seen any prices for them? Does anybody have any personal experience with the Tanabe adj. struts?

if possible get a coilover setup with the threads on the shock body itself, not the cheapo coilovers like junk 2.. you'll be happier

lots of brands out there to choose from... whats your price range?

hmm price range? under $250 US, i'm just looking for springs though, there's no way I could afford full coilovers. I'm not looking for a setup that would be really stiff when driven hard but mostly for the look with a 205/45-16 tire.
But.. don't get me wrong, I still drive the car hard, just not VERY often. I was looking at these springs: opinions please.

-Tanabe Sustec Super H 1.0/1.0
-Eibach Sportlines 1.75/1.50
-H&R Sports 1.75/1.50
-Neuspeed Sports 1.75/1.50

I have a 1994 Acura Integra. If anyone has pics with any lowering springs with 205/45-16's please post.

Thanks alot everyone who posted.

How about any of the TEIN springs? I know there's soft, medium, and hard. are any of those any good?

Thanks

-Tanabe Sustec Super H 1.0/1.0
-Eibach Sportlines 1.75/1.50
-H&R Sports 1.75/1.50
-Neuspeed Sports 1.75/1.50
Since you said you were interested in looks and performance, I'd rule out the Tanabe 1 inch drop ones as they aren't as stiff nor do they lower as much (assuming you believe lower looks better). I don't know about the Tanabe's that do the 1.75 inch drop.

The H&R sports and Neuspeed Sports are the same springs, so you can lump those two together. These springs give a nicer ride since they aren't as stiff as the Eibachs, however, some consider the springs not stiff enough for the amount of drop you get with them.

So that leaves the Eibachs, which lower a good amount for looks and are relatively stiff for their drop. The main drawback to the Eibachs are that they lower unevenly in the front and back, resulting in the back being lower than the front. If you have a system or sub in your car and it really looks off because your car will be even lower in the rear.
