Ok so...sitting still my cars fine radio doesn't cut out or anything but once I get going it loses power..my temp gauge is erratic to hot sometimes..radio cuts in n out at night my lights flicker when I give it gas..ac will turn off n lights will too taking off in 1st driving normal..my only ce light code is o2 .. Any ideas. Can give more info if needed.

 

I've checked all the fuses..pulled pos terminal off while running stayed on..battery is good so is alternator..I'm stumped.

 

Check all the grounds make sure none are disconnected or loose.

 

check the voltage from alternator and battery voltage.

 

i second this. check and clean all underhood grounds and battery connections. voltage drop testing the ground connections is the ideal method. voltage drops should not exceed 100mv.

if this doesn't find the culprit, a thorough charging system test should be performed, since the problem seems to occur under load. you can check the charging voltage yourself, and measure a/c ripple, but for a load test, it's best to have this performed by a shop
