92 integra ls obd1 need help with CEL code

The CEL blinks 8 times fast, 4 times slow, then 1 time fast. What’s is the code(s)?

Forums say to replace the whole distributor for code 8 but I changed my ignition coils and spark plugs because they were full of oil due to leaking spark plug grommets. After changing the coils and plugs the CEL code 8 disappeared. Is it true I solved the issue?
