Default 911 HELP!!! TRANNY PROBLEMS!!

Last night my car started to make this really loud knocking/ticking noise. It sounded like a bad exhaust leak. It happens when the car is in neautral or in gear, and when the rpms are revved up past 2,000. I just got it home today (the day after the prob) and it wont even GO INTO GEAR !!! What could be wrong?! HELP!

The Car is stuck in netural? Or it will go in gear but the car will not move.. could be a broken main shaft...

The car is stuck in neautral, it wont go into any gear. I was having problems with it on the highway coming home, it wouldnt go into 4th...but when i got home and put it in reverse to back up...it wouldnt come out of reverse..then it just wont go into any gear period now!!
