9005 Upgrade
I have just done the 9005 upgrade & it really is better. I took a few pics tonight to show my results. You can see a definitive difference. This mod was SOOO easy & took under an hour total to grind away the needed spots & install. I believe this to be WELL worth the effort for only $25 total.

You have to post your photo from a publicly-accessible website. If you don't have your own, you can upload it to a service such as Sony's Imagestation (click here for more info). It appears that you have already done that.
Once it's there, right-mouse-click on the photo (when you're looking at it on the Imagestation website) to find out its properties including its website address (URL). Note that you should be right mouse clicking on the smaller photo as it's displayed in the album, NOT on the original large-size photo. So the website address of the photo should end in .jpg but NOT .jpg.orig.jpg (They're otherwise the same address.) Here's the reason for this. If you try to show the original photo (.jpg.orig.jpg) then only people who are logged on to Imagestation can see it, and no one else can see it. If you show the album-sized version (.jpg) then everyone can see it.
Once you have the URL, then you can include it in your post as follows (without any of the spaces that I am showing between the first set of brackets):

Below are instructions for Imagestation users to upload photos to their Imagestation account
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Once you have an Imagestation account, here's how to get the pictures into your account:
1. If you don't already have your pictures on your hard drive, then you'll need to download them to your hard drive from wherever they are.
2. Log in to Imagestation.
3. Click on "Upload Images".
4. Where it says "Select Image Files", enter the filename on your hard drive for each of the photos, and click on "Upload Images".
5. Go back to the Imagestation home page and click on "My Imagestation".
6. Go to the album where you want the new photos, or click on "Create a New Album".
7. Click on "Add Images/Video".
8. It should show you the photos that were uploaded in step 3 above. Select the photos that you want to add to that album, and proceed with adding them to the album.

Yea definately one of the easiest and most productive mods, i just did it the other day and i noticed a vast improvement. Mine cost me 50 bucks since i use the Silverstars, they give that nice blue hue to the light.

Patrick has a link on his sig on how to do this. I was going to do this, but a lot of people were having problems with the bulbs only lasting a few months. (assuming you used Silverstars)

Do a search, I've read it on this board somewhere.

1) Remove old 9006 bulbs
2) Look at new 9005 bulbs where the prong connectors are. You will see 2 plastic tabs. Remove those via anyway you desire. (I used a short long razor blade)
3) Use the old 9006 washer on the new 9005 bulbs
4) Try to put the 9005 bulb back in. You will notice one of the tabs are a bit longer. Trim it but do not remove the whole tab
5) Install the 9005 bulb
6) Done in 30 mins
Note: You are now using a higher wattage bulb, any implications that implies.... I have no idea. But don't expect it this mod to last very long. I recomend silverstarts for the HID look. Philips Hi-Visibilty if you actually want to see better.
Have a nice day
