Default 9005 conversion using stock 9005 high beam headlights

If i do a 9005 convo, should i buy sum stock high beam headlight bulbs fo my teg and mod them to fit in the 9006 socket?
Or should i just buy Sylvania Cool Blues in 9005?
i don't want to use Silverstars cuz they burn out soooo quick.

I will be using this guide: http://www.team-integra.net/se...D=482

any 9005 size highbeam will fit. it doesnt what brand, you still have to modify the tabs to fit.

I always wondered something for the people that did this conversion...why not get 2 high beam harnesses...cut your low beam harnesses off, and put quick connector on there so if need be, you could switch back to your old harnesses ? that would beat ruining a perfectly good headlight harness

isn't the only part you have to cut on the actual bulb it self? (inside and outside tabs)

You don't need to cut anything or modify the car. You only need to modify the bulb. Also the Cool Blue bulbs don't last all that long either... My 1st Cool Blue went out @ 6 months and the 2nd one went out @ 9 months. The Cool Blue bulbs are whiter than the Honda OEM bulbs. IMHO I'm not sure ANY high beam bulb will last as long as the 9006 bulbs.
