Re: 5speed conversions (Seprioth64)
I did had an auto to manual swap done on my 97 ls and its definately worth it if you have the money and dont care about resale value. Mine cost close to 3k for parts and labor, (I would of done it, but i need my car and it would of taken a long time). Try searching for parts lists becasue there are many threads about this.

Re: 5speed conversions (mintegra97)
Personaly, i would never .swap a auto to 5 speed..its a waste of money..you want to have fun ,have 3 g's to spend ....get a jackson supercharger, get a turbo kit ,
w/ that amount of money i can boost your car for less than 3,000 dollars.....but if you still want to do it...my friend's uncle owns a junk yard...i could maybe get you all the parts cheap...Just give it some thought before you do it... for that amount of money you might be disapointed w/ the out come
