Default 5 Lug Conversion

In a B18C5 motor swap in an LS:

would you have to change to 5 lug from the LS 4 lug?

will the axles from a Type R bolt up to the suspension on an LS?

Also, could i in theory, get coilovers and brakes, on an LS, then swap in the Type R motor with no problem?

is there any info i should know about this swap?

Default Re: 5 Lug Conversion

so i dont need to convert to 5 lug even if i am getting the Type R axles?

i read somewhere that JDM Type R axles are 36mm long and the USDM integra's are 32mm.

I'd be getting a JDM motor with JDM ITR axles bolting up to a stock LS? sound kosher or sounds like i need 5 lugs?

Use your original LS axels they will work with the B18c -R. You are correct JDM ITR axels are 36mm and they will not work on your stock O.E.M HUB. I run the JDM ITR axels with the JDM ITR 5 lug on my DA teg.

us is 32mm, as well as ctrs and the 96 spec ITR
jdm itr 98+ spec is 36mm. (because of the bigger 16" wheels)
crvs are 36mm too.
